Haldiram’s Premium Nuts — Retail Gifting Range

Haldiram’s, a heritage Indian brand synonymous with taste and tradition, aimed to elevate its retail presence with a premium nuts range designed specifically for Diwali 2025. This initiative sought to bridge the gap between traditional gifting and modern luxury by introducing a refined packaging system that reflects both indulgence and authenticity.

The range includes hexagonal glass jars, nut pouches, IML tubs, and tins, all unified under the Retail Premium Nuts category. The design language draws inspiration from festive opulence, featuring metallic accents, structured geometry, and a balanced color palette that distinguishes each variant while maintaining brand cohesion.

My contributions involved developing the packaging design system for the nut range, ensuring the form factor conveyed a sense of sophistication and gifting appeal. I worked on visual hierarchy and color segmentation for easy product differentiation, while also ensuring alignment with Haldiram’s brand ethos.

Designed a premium nut pouch range for Haldiram’s Retail, featuring popping festive colours, elegant typography, and a clean layout that elevates the gifting appeal while ensuring strong shelf presence.

The type system uses:

  • Script for flavour cues → adds elegance and personalization

  • Subtle diamond-shaped counters → enhance the festive and elevated visual tone

Hexagonal glass jars

Designed a range of premium hexagonal glass jars for Haldiram’s Retail, created to elevate the festive gifting experience. The visual language features vibrant celebratory colours, a label window for product visibility—eliminating the need for photography and typographic details that together build a modern, luxurious shelf presence.

Key brand equities such as the Haldiram’s logo, HR monogram, and Premium Quality seal were retained to honour the brand’s legacy while enhancing its premium appeal. The hexagonal structure paired with a clean, systematic label design ensures strong product differentiation and a gift-worthy collectible feel for Diwali 2025

Colour selection

A vibrant, flavour-linked colour system was developed to ensure instant recognition and strong shelf differentiation. Each Pantone shade was chosen based on flavour cues, competitive mapping, and emotional resonance—balancing appetite appeal with a premium festive aesthetic. Bold, saturated colours help the jars stand out while maintaining clarity and consistency across the full range.
